Eric Abati is a seasoned professional with over 20 years of experience in tax, general business, and strategic planning services for closely held businesses across various industries, including construction, real estate development, and not-for-profit organizations. Currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer at ATKG since 2010, Eric is also an Advisory Board Member at both the San Antonio Zoo and the UTSA Carlos Alvarez College of Business Department of Accounting. Previously, Eric held the position of Senior Tax Manager at BKD, LLP from 2003 to 2010 and worked as a Tax Specialist at Ernst & Young from 2001 to 2003. A graduate of Florida State University with a BS in Accounting, Eric is a member of several professional organizations, including the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants. Additionally, Eric has actively contributed as a board member and past president of the Autism Community Network from 2008 to 2014 and is involved with the Real Estate Council of San Antonio.
