Brian Van, CSP, is an experienced Safety Director currently managing the Safety and Risk Management programs at Atkinson Construction since December 2008. With a strong background in safety management, Brian previously held similar roles at Swinerton Builders and University Mechanical Contractors, where responsibilities included managing safety and risk across multiple projects. Earlier experience includes serving as the Regional Safety Manager at Mowat Construction Co. and as an English Language Instructor at Bookshelf International. Brian holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Loss Control/Safety and Health from Central Washington University and is actively involved in various safety committees, including the Puget Sound Chapter of ASSE and the AGC of WA Safety Committee.
