Declan Egan

Declan Egan is the Associate Director of Environment at AtkinsRéalis, bringing over 25 years of experience in environmental impact assessment, carbon management, and sustainability. They have previously held positions as Technical Director at JBA Consulting and Fehily Timoney & Co., where they managed significant environmental projects, including Ireland’s first offshore wind farm. Declan has contributed to academia as a part-time lecturer at University College Cork and has served as a guest lecturer at the University of Limerick. They hold a Master’s Degree in Environmental Auditing from the University of Wales, Aberystwyth, and a degree in Environmental Science and Technology from the Institute of Technology, Sligo.
