Greg Jackson

Vice President Health Safety And Environment, The Americas Region at AtkinsRéalis

Greg Jackson has extensive work experience in the field of health, safety, and environment. Greg currently holds the position of Vice President Health Safety and Environment for the Americas Region at AtkinsRéalis. Prior to this, from 2017 to 2021, they worked as the Vice President Environment Health Safety at Aecon Group Inc. Before that, Greg was employed by Ontario Power Generation, where they held various roles including Director of Corporate Health & Safety from 2013 to 2017 and Director of Conventional Safety in the Nuclear Division from 2010 to 2012. Greg also served as the Manager of Safety Strategy at the Nuclear Support and Darlington Nuclear Generating Station. Greg began their career as an Ergonomist at Ontario Power Generation and later became a Senior Ergonomist. Prior to joining Ontario Power Generation, they worked as a Health and Safety Coordinator at Humber Memorial Hospital.

Greg Jackson obtained a Bachelor of Science (KIN) degree in Kinesiology and Ergonomics from the University of Waterloo in 1994. In 1996, they earned a Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety from Ryerson University. Greg later pursued additional education, completing the Advanced Program in Human Resource Management from the University of Toronto - Rotman School of Management in 2008. Greg also attended the Queens School of Business in 2006 for the Queen's Leadership Program and the University of Toronto - Rotman School of Management in 2002 for Corporate Leadership Development. In 2004, they obtained the Canadian Registered Safety Professional (CRSP) certification from the Board of Canadian Registered Safety Professionals.
