Simon Howe

Simon Howe is an experienced professional in security and telecommunications, currently serving as a Security Manager at AtkinsRéalis since August 2025, overseeing site-wide security for a major giga-project in central Riyadh. Prior to this role, Simon spent over 13 years at Formula 1, first as a Track Systems Engineer and later as Race Operations Manager, where responsibilities included building and commissioning networks for on-car systems using RF technology and Fibre Optic infrastructure. Additional experience includes serving as Area Manager at Venatrack Ltd and managing telecommunications projects at Harlow International, notably the installation of communication infrastructure for the Foreign Commonwealth Office in Basra. Simon began a career in telecommunications as a Telecommunications Engineer with the Royal Corps of Signals, focusing on fixed communication infrastructure and network planning in challenging environments. Simon's education includes training at the Royal School of Signals and attendance at Brumby Comprehensive.
