Lea Espy has extensive work experience in the telecommunications industry. They started their career with Verizon Business in 1998 as a Field Service Technician III, where they were involved in customer and data center installations, circuit testing, network maintenance, and troubleshooting. Lea worked at Verizon Business until 2008. In 2010, they joined AT&T as a Field Service Technician III, focusing on similar responsibilities until 2012.
