Lysa John

Executive Director at Atlantic Fellows

Lysa John serves as the Executive Director of Atlantic Fellows since October 2024, following their role as a Judge for the Global Economic Prosperity Challenge at MIT Solve from April 2024 to October 2024. Lysa holds a position as a Board Member at the International Budget Partnership and the Global Partnership for Sustainable Development Data, contributing since September 2022 and April 2022, respectively. Additionally, Lysa is an Advisory Board Member for the World Benchmarking Alliance and has been the Secretary General of CIVICUS: World Alliance for Citizen Participation since January 2019. Previous roles include Judge for the Learning for Civic Action Challenge at Solve - MIT and Steering Committee Member of the Open Government Partnership. Lysa's past experience includes serving as the Global Campaign Director for Save the Children International and Head of Outreach for the UN High Level Panel on the Post-2015 Agenda at UNDP. Lysa holds a Master’s degree in Social Work from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences and a Bachelor's degree in Social Work from the College of Social Work in Mumbai.
