Thomas Margolis, MD, is a seasoned retinal specialist currently at Mid Atlantic Retina. They completed a vitreoretinal fellowship at Tufts New England Eye Center from 1993 to 1995 and co-founded Retinal and Ophthalmic Consultants, PC, serving as a retinal specialist and owner from 1995 to 2025. Presently, they also act as an attending vitreoretinal surgeon at AtlantiCare and chief of ophthalmology at Shore Medical Center. Their extensive background includes a research fellowship at Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary and training through an internal medicine internship at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and an ophthalmology residency at Wills Eye Hospital. Margolis obtained a BA in Chemistry and Economics from the University of Pennsylvania and an MD from Harvard Medical School.
