Patrick Schmidt

Patrick Schmidt is the Senior Director of Government Affairs and Public Policy at Atlas Air, a position they have held since 2025. Previously, they served as a Principal Director in the Private Sector Office at the U.S. Department of Homeland Security and held various roles at U.S. Customs and Border Protection, including Counselor to the Commissioner. Patrick's background includes significant experience at The White House Office of National Drug Control Policy as a Senior Policy Advisor, as well as a detailee to the Domestic Policy Council. They earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from Georgetown University in 2005.
