Tom Root is an accomplished engineer with extensive experience in the energy and surveying industries. Currently serving as Engineer 3 at Atmos Energy since July 2022, Tom has previously held key roles at GIS Surveyors, Inc. as Project Manager and Project Surveyor from November 2017 to June 2022. Prior to that, Tom was the Lead Pipeline Designer at SPEC Services from May 2014 to November 2017. Additional experience includes positions as Engineer I and IT Administrator/Webmaster at Land Development Design Company, LLC, and Customer Success Representative at SendGrid, where technical support was provided to a global client base exceeding 100,000.
