Gizem Akın

Gizem Akın is a Senior Architect at ATÖLYE, where Gizem joined in 2019 to apply a holistic design approach across various disciplines, including hospitality, workspace, urban, and exhibition design. Her work spans multiple countries, such as KSA, Qatar, the UAE, and Japan, focusing on creating human-centered spaces that foster community and engagement. A top graduate from Istanbul Bilgi University, Gizem began her career in London, building her expertise through large-scale and residential projects, and has also managed her own interior design projects in Turkey. Prior to ATÖLYE, Gizem gained experience as an architect with Access Building Contractors Ltd and as a Junior Architect at Kreatif Mimarlık.
