Marcus Mitchell

Marcus Mitchell has extensive work experience in the finance industry. Marcus started their career at Poundstretcher Ltd as a Financial Accountant, where they gained skills in management and financial accounting. Marcus then moved on to Komori UK Ltd as an Accountant, where they worked closely with the business development function. At First Direct, they held various Commercial Finance & Business Partner roles, contributing to the launch of new products and strategic plans. Mitchell then joined HSBC, first direct, where they served as Head of Finance at first direct + Regional Head of Cost Management, providing business finance support and leadership. Currently, Mitchell is the Director of Strategy at Atom bank.

Marcus Mitchell obtained a Post Graduate Certificate in Business Excellence in Business Administration and Management from the University of Leeds, which they attended from 2001 to 2004. Prior to this, they pursued Accounting and Finance at CIMA from 1993 to 1996.
