Adway Patra

Adway Patra is a Quantum Error Correction Theorist at Atom Computing, where they develop algorithms for fault-tolerant quantum computation on Near-Intermediate Scale Quantum (NISQ) devices. Previously, Patra was a Ph.D. student at the University of Maryland, College Park, focusing on classical and quantum coding theory under Prof. Alexander Barg. They earned a Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications from Jadavpur University in Kolkata and a Master's degree in Electrical Communications Engineering from the Indian Institute of Science in Bangalore. Patra has also worked as a Consultant at PwC India and as an Analyst at TCG Digital, where they contributed to technology consulting and full-stack development, respectively.
