Software Engineering Manager at Atom Computing

Andrew Brown has over 25 years of work experience in the software engineering field. In 1996, they began their career as a Summer Intern at Caltech. Andrew then moved on to Silicon Graphics (SGI) in 1997, where they were a Senior MTS/Software Engineer. In 1999, they joined ArtX as a Software Engineer before being acquired by ATI. From 2000 to 2012, they worked at AMD, first as an ASIC Design and Verification Engineer and then as a Senior Staff Engineer/ASIC Design and Verification. During this time, they were also a Mobile Web Software Engineer (Part-time contractor) at Envoy Commerce Corp. from 2012 to 2015. In 2015, they joined Mixpanel as a Software Engineer, and then Nextdoor as a Software Engineer in the same year. From 2017 to 2022, Andrew Brown worked at LaunchDarkly as a Software Engineering Manager and Senior Distributed Systems Engineer, and then at Atom Computing as a Software Engineering Manager and Senior Software Engineer.

Andrew Brown attended Swarthmore College from 1993 to 1997, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts in Math and Computer Science. During this time, they also took courses at Rice University in Applied Mathematics and Computer Science.
