Ciro Nishiguchi

Senior Principal Software Engineer at Atom Computing

Ciro Nishiguchi is a Senior Principal Software Engineer at Atom Computing. Prior to this, they were employed by NI (National Instruments) from 1999 to 2021. During their tenure at NI, they held various roles, including Chief Engineer, Software-Defined Radio, where they re-architected streaming code for USRP Hardware Driver (UHD) to improve performance. Ciro was also Chief Engineer, Digital Instruments for Semiconductor Test, where they defined instrument API and data format for specification of digital patterns and digital edge timing parameters. Additionally, they served as Principal SW Engineer, RF Vector Signal Transceiver, where they grew the driver software team from a single member to 20 developers at its peak. Ciro was also Senior SW Engineer, High Frequency Measurement, where they defined NI-RFSA instrument API for RF signal analyzers. Lastly, they were a SW Engineer - Staff SW Engineer, High-Speed Digital I/O Instruments, where they developed a kernel driver and implemented an instrument API for high-speed digital I/O interfacing instruments.

Ciro Nishiguchi obtained a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from Rice University between 1995 and 1999. Ciro also has two certifications, an Azure DevOps First Look certification from LinkedIn obtained in April 2019, and an Introducing Functional Programming in C++ certification from LinkedIn obtained in March 2019.
