Evan Geller

Evan Geller is a Quantum Engineer at Atom Computing since August 2023, previously serving as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology from January 2020 to August 2023, focusing on pulsed tunneling spectroscopy of large gap topological insulators. Prior to that, Geller completed a PhD in Applied Physics at Yale University, where research involved developing time-bin-entanglement between superconducting cavities. Earlier academic experiences include an undergraduate role at the UCSB Martinis Lab, where quantum memory was developed, and various positions in software engineering and research across several organizations including Apple, UC Berkeley, and the Internet Systems Consortium. Geller holds a BA in Physics and a BS in Computer Science from UC Santa Barbara.
