Jan Marjanovič

Jan Marjanovič is a Senior FPGA Engineer currently working at Atom Computing. Prior to this, they were an FPGA Consultant. From 2017 to 2022, they were a Senior FPGA Developer at DESY, where they coordinated the bring-up of a Zynq UltraScale+ MPSoC-based FMC/FMC+ carrier, led the development of a Board Support Package, implemented a data acquisition design on Zynq UltraScale+ MPSoC with a high-speed LVDS interface, AXI4 DMA, PCI Express, and DDR4 memory used for special diagnostics at particle accelerators, and participated as an FPGA expert in the development of a phasemeter in a collaboration with a university. Jan also held presentations and tutorials at international workshops and conferences. From 2013 to 2017, they worked as a Research and Development Engineer and Student Worker at CAEN ELS s.r.l.

Jan Marjanovič obtained a Diploma (Master's Degree) in Electronics from the University of Ljubljana between 2008 and 2013. Jan also holds certifications from Coursera, edX, and lynda.com, including Neural Networks and Deep Learning (2021), The Analytics Edge (2020), Artificial Intelligence (AI) - ColumbiaX CSMM.101x (2020), C++ Essential Training (2015), Introduction to Functional Programming, and Introduction to Linux.
