Lavanya Taneja is an experimental quantum physicist with over a decade of experience in quantum optics, including cavity QED, nonlinear optics, and atomic physics. Currently, they work as a Quantum Engineer at Atom Computing, focusing on developing technologies for utility-scale neutral atom quantum processors. They have previously contributed as a Graduate Research Assistant at both Stanford University and the University of Chicago, and served as a Student Contributor for Physics World. Lavanya holds a Doctor of Philosophy from the University of Chicago and a Master of Science from the same institution, along with a Bachelor of Science from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur.
