Sebastian Pucher

Quantum Engineer

Sebastian Pucher is a highly experienced physicist with a strong focus on quantum engineering and project leadership in advanced scientific research. Pucher completed a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Physics at Technische Universität Wien, followed by a Master’s degree and a Ph.D. in Physics at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin. Notable roles include serving as a Bachelor Student in the research group of Prof. Dr. Karl Unterrainer, Project Student in a project involving NV-centers at the Atomchip group, and a Project Leader at Menlo Systems, where efforts concentrated on microwave generation stabilization. Pucher is currently engaged as a Quantum Engineer at Atom Computing and has held various positions in photography, contributing significantly to sports and event coverage for organizations such as SG Handball West Wien and the Österreichischer Handballbund. Additional research experience includes a postdoctoral researcher role at the Max Planck Institute of Quantum Optics, focusing on quantum many-body physics.
