Tsung-Yao Wu has three years of work experience. Tsung-Yao started as a Research Assistant at National Tsing Hua University in 2012, where they followed instructions, assisted in starting up a new lab, and developed safety protocols. Tsung-Yao also built the prototype of a bright single-photon source from a monolithic cavity. From 2014 to 2021, Wu worked as a Graduate Research Assistant and Graduate Teaching Assistant at Penn State University. As a Graduate Research Assistant, they were a fast learner with strong problem-solving skills, and demonstrated a new lossless quantum state detection method by mapping internal states to spatial positions. As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, they were an effective and patient teacher in 3 semesters and 1 summer of lab and recitation sections. Currently, Wu is a Quantum Engineer at Atom Computing.
Tsung-Yao Wu attended Penn State University from 2014 to 2020, where they earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Physics. Prior to that, they attended National Tsing Hua University from 2008 to 2012, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Physics.
