Carlos Trapet has worked in a variety of roles since 2014. Carlos began their career as a Freelance Translator and Interpreter, providing English-Spanish and German-Spanish translation and interpreting services, as well as editing and proofreading. Carlos also worked as a Conference Interpreter for the University of Granada and for the Spanish booth at the European Parliament in Strasbourg during the Model European Union Strasbourg event. In 2016, they took on the role of Country Manager for Careerjet, a leading job search engine available in more than 90 countries and 34 languages. Carlos's main duties included translating, localising and proofreading company features, websites, products and new updates / user packages to high-quality standards. From 2018 to 2019, they worked as a Software Engineer for Santander UK, and then as a Senior Software Engineer for Atom Learning.
Carlos Trapet obtained a Master's degree in Conference Interpreting from Universidad de Granada in 2014. In 2017 and 2018, they attended Makers. From 2009 to 2013, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Translation and Interpreting studies from Universidad del País Vasco/Euskal Herriko Unibertsitatea. In 2015, they completed an online course on Automated Translation in a Professional Environment from AulaSIC. In 2014, they obtained a Professional Conference Interpreter Training Course from Eidolon.
