Charles Cunningham has a wealth of work experience. Charles began their career in 2013 as an Events, Archival and Public Access Assistant at the Petrie Museum of Egyptian Archaeology, where they helped plan and promote events, assisted in the digital archiving of museum references and acquisition lists, and worked as an informal Learning Assistant. In 2015, they became an Account Manager at Inspiring Interns, where they managed a range of existing client accounts, reviewed applications, shortlisted candidates, arranged interviews, and supported candidates through all stages of the recruitment process. In 2016, they moved to Harley Academy, taking on the role of Head of Student Success. In 2022, they joined Atom Learning as a Partnerships Manager.

Charles Cunningham attended St. Aidans and St. John Fishers Associated Sixth form from 2009 to 2011, where they studied Ancient Theirtory, Theatre Studies, and Biology. Charles then went on to Royal Holloway, University of London, where they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Ancient Theirtory from 2011 to 2014.
