Gemma Ackerley

Head of Customer Success at Atom Learning

Gemma Ackerley has had a varied work experience, beginning in 2008 as a Supervisor at Caffè Nero. Gemma then worked as a Barista at Starbucks from 2009 to 2013, followed by a Waitress role at Zizzi Restaurants. From 2014 to 2020, Gemma worked at Explore Learning, in roles such as Regional Manager, Centre Director, and Assistant Director. Most recently, they have been the Head of Customer Success at Atom Learning.

Gemma Ackerley completed a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in English Literature from Newcastle University between 2009 and 2012. Gemma then went on to pursue an MLITT in Children's Literature at the same university, which they completed in 2013. In 2016, they obtained a Train the Trainer certification from Explore Learning.
