Principal Electrical Engineer at Atom Power

Mike Gilliom has extensive experience in the electrical engineering field. Mike began their career in 1999 as a Co-Op at GE Fanuc. In 2003, they were a Senior Electrical Engineer at Fairchild Controls. Mike then moved to Eaton Electrical in 2007, where they were also a Senior Electrical Engineer. In 2010, they began working at Cree, where they held the roles of Intelligent Devices Hardware Manager, Product Engineering Electronics Manager, and Senior Electrical Engineer. In 2019, they joined Cree Lighting as an Engineer Advanced Development and System Team Manager. In 2021, they were a Senior Electrical Engineer at Ecosense, a Korrus Company. Most recently, they are a Principal Electrical Engineer at Atom Power, Inc.

Mike Gilliom received their Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Virginia Tech in 2002, having started their studies there in 1997. Mike then went on to earn a Master's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Virginia Tech in 2012.
