Gaurav Gupta is currently the Head of Product Development at Atomberg Technologies since March 2022. Prior to this role, Gaurav served as a Staff Engineer in the Advanced Technology Lab at Samsung Electronics from December 2013 to March 2022, focusing on new concept incubation and the design of products utilizing sensor technologies for smartphones, wearables, and VR/AR. Gaurav was also with Motorola Mobile Devices, where the position of Principal Staff Engineer involved structural simulation and risk assessment for mobile phone development from June 2007 to December 2013. Early career experiences include a summer internship at Motorola Mobile Devices in 2006 and management training at Hero Honda in 2005, as well as internships at Tohoku University in Japan and Sundaram Fasteners. Gaurav holds a Master’s degree in Manufacturing and Design from The University of Texas at Austin and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras.
