Andy Tan has extensive work experience in various industries. Andy currently holds the role of Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) at Atome, where they have been working since 2023. Prior to this, they worked as the Head of Funding at Atome starting in 2022. Andy also has experience in academic settings, as they worked as a Lecturer at the National University of Singapore from 2023 to 2023, teaching a module on arts and cultural entrepreneurship. Before joining Atome, they had a long tenure at Credit Suisse from 2018 to 2022, where they held the position of Head of Loan Syndicate South Asia, APAC Financing Group. From 2006 to 2017, they worked at United Overseas Bank Limited, where they held various roles including Director of Sector Solutions Group and Director of Loans Syndication. Andy also has experience in the theatre industry as a Freelance Theatre Practitioner and served in the Singapore Armed Forces as a Corporal.
Andy Tan received a Master of Science in Management (MSx) from Stanford University Graduate School of Business in 2018. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Economics from the University of Chicago from 2002 to 2006. Before attending university, they completed their GCE 'A' Levels at Victoria Junior College in 1998-1999, and their GCE 'O' Levels at St Joseph's Institution (SJI) from 1994 to 1997. Andy also holds a Certificate in Public Management and Social Innovation from Stanford University Graduate School of Business.
