Chief Scientist at Atomera

Marek Hytha has extensive work experience in the field of research and development, particularly in the semiconductor industry. Marek began their career as an Assistant Professor at Charles University in Prague from September 1987 to December 1991. After that, they worked as a Research Scientist at the National Center for High-Performance Computing from October 1997 to September 1999, and concurrently as a Research Scientist at Tamkang University from October 1997 to September 1999 as well. Marek then joined Christian-Albrechts University as a Research Scientist from October 1999 to October 2002. In 2002, they briefly worked as a Visiting Researcher at the University of Cambridge from July to December. In September 1992, they joined the Institute of Physics, ASCR as a Research Scientist until January 2003. Marek'slongest tenure was at MEARS Technologies, Inc., where they served as Chief Scientist from January 2003 to December 2015. Currently, they hold the position of Chief Scientist at Atomera, starting from January 2016. Throughout their career, Marek Hytha has focused on developing semiconductor technology and managing research and development activities.

From 1992 to 1997, Marek Hytha pursued their doctoral studies in Condensed Matter Physics at Charles University. Marek obtained a PhD degree upon completing their education.
