Yi-Ann Chen

Yi-Ann Chen has had various work experiences throughout their career. They started their career as a Teaching Assistant at UCSB in 2009. They then moved on to become a Senior Device Engineer at TSMC from November 2009 to October 2013. After that, they worked as a Product Engineer at OmniVision Technologies, Inc. from September 2015 to September 2016. Most recently, they hold the position of Staff Engineer at Atomera, starting in January 2017. Furthermore, in 2008, Yi-Ann Chen worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at the Solid State Lighting and Energy Center at UCSB, where they were advised by Prof. Shuji Nakamura and Prof. Steven P.

Yi-Ann Chen obtained a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from National Chiao Tung University between 2003 and 2007. Following this, Yi-Ann pursued a Master's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of California, Santa Barbara from 2007 to 2009.
