Brandon Anderson

Brandon Anderson is a skilled professional in the field of machine learning and physics, currently serving as a Staff Machine Learning Scientist at Atomic AI since May 2022. Previously, Brandon held the roles of Director of ml.research and Senior Machine Learning Scientist at Atomwise from September 2019 to April 2022, where activities focused on developing neural network architectures for predicting protein-ligand binding affinity in drug discovery. Brandon's academic background includes a postdoctoral position at the University of Chicago from September 2014 to September 2019, which involved designing novel machine learning methods for physical and chemical systems, as well as research on superconductors and quantum gases. Earlier, Brandon was a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the Joint Quantum Institute from September 2011 to September 2014.
