Thomas Eiden

Founder & CEO at Atomic Alchemy

Thomas Eiden has worked in the engineering field since 2011. In that time, they have held several roles. From 2011 to 2014, they were a Graduate Research Assistant and Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of Wisconsin-Madison College of Engineering. Theirduties included sample preparation and data collection, as well as webmaster duties for two research groups. In 2012, they held a Research Aide position at Argonne National Laboratory. From 2014 to 2018, they were a Reactor Engineer and Advanced Test Reactor Experiment Engineer at Battelle Energy Alliance. Theirroles involved fuel management and optimization, reactor core modeling, physics analysis, and writing test plans for flux profile and reactivity experiments. In 2018, they founded and became CEO of Atomic Alchemy Inc.

Thomas Eiden began their educational career by transferring to the University of Wisconsin Marathon County in 2008, where they earned a General Education degree. Thomas then continued their education at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Nuclear Engineering in 2012. In 2013, they earned a Master's degree in Nuclear Engineering/Engineering Physics from the same university. In 2016, they obtained a Master Gardener certification from the University of Idaho. In 2019, they completed a program at Y Combinator.
