Alex Marquedant

Alex Marquedant has worked in a variety of roles in the IT field since 2016. In 2016, they worked as a Line Cook and Dishwasher at Triple R Grill & Bar. In 2017, they worked as a Line Cook at The Red Goat Bar & Grill, where they were responsible for training, creating dishes, monitoring and preparing inventory as the morning lead chef. This lead to high customer return rates and the bar winning awards three years in a row for The Best Bar in Central Minnesota. In 2019, they worked as a Machine Operator at RIE Coatings, LLC and as a Help Desk Technician at Ridgewater College, where they were responsible for closing support desk tickets on issues students would have hardware and software related. In 2020, they worked as a Network Systems Engineer, Network Specialist III, and Network Specialist II at Marco Technologies, where their primary focus was on project work and ticket escalations. Alex also worked as an Information Technology Specialist at Mills Automotive Group, where they were responsible for managing IT Systems and infrastructure for 20 locations. Currently, they are working as a Game Day Network Engineer II at Atomic Data, where they help architect infrastructure refreshes along with ensuring that no deadline is impossible.

Alex Marquedant has an Associate's degree in Network and System Administration/Administrator from Ridgewater College and a High School Diploma from Eden Valley Secondary. Alex has also achieved numerous certifications, including CNMA from Cisco Meraki in April 2021, MD-100 Windows 10 from Microsoft in March 2021, Cisco Meraki Solutions Specialist from Cisco in July 2021, Cisco Certified Networking Professional -Enterprise from Cisco in March 2022, Cisco Certified Specialist - Enterprise Wireless Design from Cisco in March 2022, Cisco Certified Specialist - Enterprise Core from Cisco in December 2021, CCNA from Cisco in December 2020, and CCNA: Enterprise Networking, Security, and Automation from Cisco in November 2020.
