John Xiong

John Xiong has over five years of work experience in the IT field. From 2014 to 2016, they worked at KellyMitchell Group, Inc. as a Client Support Specialist for Target Corporation. During this time, their duties included providing technical support for POS/SCO, Guest Payment Devices, Desktops, VOIP, Printers, Price Checkers, Time Clock, IP and Analog cameras, Kiosks and other hardware. John also provided support for Microsoft Windows, Office Outlook/Word/Excel/ 2010/2013, Internet Explorer, and various software. In 2014, they also worked at TEKsystems as a Help Desk Analyst, where they provided quarterly inventory support for hardware, software and process. John also provided technical support and troubleshooting desktops, mobile devices, Cisco IP phones, and network connectivity.

From 2016 to the present, John Xiong has been employed at Atomic Data, where they have held various roles. As an Infrastructure Engineer, they served as an escalation point for troubleshooting of complex networking related issues in a service provider environment. John evaluated local area network (LAN) or wide area network (WAN) performance data to ensure enough availability or speed, to identify network problems, or for disaster recovery purposes. John also configured and defined parameters for installation or testing of local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN), hubs, routers, switches, controllers, multiplexers, or related networking equipment. Additionally, they have been a NOC Technical Lead - Network Infrastructure, a NOC Technician II - Shift Lead, and a NOC Technician I. In these roles, they were responsible for network infrastructure escalations from Network Operations Center (NOC), Security Operations Center (SOC), and Service Desk, provided higher tier support, training and mentorship for NOC and Service Desk Technicians, and provided proactive monitoring on all data centers, customer network and system infrastructure, IPS security logging and DDOS events.

John Xiong obtained an Associate in Applied Science Degree in Network Systems Administrator from Western Technical College in 2011-2013. John also holds a Cisco Certified Network Associate Routing and Switching (CCNA) certification from Cisco.
