Tony Konzal has over twenty years of experience in the IT industry. Tony began their career in 1999 as an Engineering Project Manager at Digex, where they managed client requests and internal initiatives. In 2003, they moved to DC Government as a Senior Systems Engineer, where they migrated critical agencies to an Active Directory 2003/Exchange 2003 platform. In 2005, they joined NOS/NOAA as a Senior Systems Engineer, where they designed solutions and managed a Windows 2003 Active Directory domain with 3,000+ users. From 2007 to 2010, they worked at Cardinal Health as a Windows Server Engineer through TEKSystems. In 2010, they joined CareFusion as a Server Engineer and was later promoted to Supervisor/Senior Systems Engineer. In 2015, they moved to BD as a Windows/VMware Tower Lead. In 2018, they began a year-long contract as an Infrastructure Engineer at UC San Diego with TEKSystems. Most recently, in 2019, they joined Atomic Data as a Systems Engineer II, where they were a key engineer for Great Clips and supported the build out of multiple soccer stadiums. Throughout their career, Tony has worked with a variety of technologies, including VMware, Pure, Rubrik, Service Now, NetApp, CISCO UCS, Dell Servers, AWS, IBM TSM, HP servers and blades, VRTX, Polyserve, EMA Celerra, and Microsoft Remote Installation Services.
Tony Konzal has a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Business Information Systems from Villa Julie College, which they obtained between 1994 and 1998. Tony also has a VMware Certified Professional 6.0 from VMware, which they obtained in July 2017, as well as a VMWare Certified Professional v5.5 from June 2015. Tony also has a Microsoft MCSE.
