Ran Wei

Head of Strategic Finance at Atomic

Ran Wei is the current head of strategic finance at Atomic. Ran has over ten years of experience in the finance and technology industries.

Ran began their career as an investment banking associate at Citi in 2011. Ran then moved to Susquehanna Growth Equity (SGE) as a growth equity intern in 2009. In this role, Ran developed a Java software package for a back-end service that calculated risk exposures of equity indices.

In 2015, Ran joined Qatalyst Partners as a vice president. During their time at Qatalyst, Ran worked on various acquisitions and sales, including the $1.1Bn sale of Quantenna to ON Semiconductor and the $48.4Bn sale of NXP to Qualcomm (terminated).

Ran joined Atomic in 2019 and is currently the head of strategic finance.

Ran Wei completed a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science at the University of Pennsylvania, followed by a Bachelor of Science in Finance at The Wharton School. Ran then attended high school at University of Toronto Schools.

Ran Wei reports to Jack Abraham, Managing Partner and CEO. They are on a team with Sharon Winter - Vice President, Danny Evens - Head of Capital Markets, and Hadley Wilkins - VP of Communications. and Jake Becker - Strategic Finance reports to Ran Wei.
