Composites Manufacturing Engineering at Atomic-6

Tim Schneider has a long and varied work experience. Tim began their career in 2006 as a Process Engineer for Nanoventions. During their time there, they developed novel fabrication techniques for micro-optic device manufacture and assisted in scale-up from hand-made prototyping to automated production volumes. In 2009, they moved to Crane Currency as a Research Engineer. Tim'saccomplishments included developing a novel product and the issuance of a product patent, specifying, vetting, installing and managing metrology equipment, and developing and optimizing procedures for fabrication processes. Tim was later promoted to Senior Research Engineer, where their responsibilities and deliverables included developing new products as project manager for international brand clients, implementing process improvements as a Lean Six Sigma project leader, and conducting adversarial analyses presented in court for prosecution of patent infringement litigation. Finally, in 2023, they moved to Atomic-6 as a Composites Manufacturing Engineering.

Tim Schneider obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Materials Science and Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 2002. Tim then went on to receive a Master of Science (MS) in Materials Science and Engineering from the same institution in 2005. In 2014, Tim completed a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Business Analysis at Georgia State University. In 2020, they obtained a Tool Champion: Total Productive Maintenance (Kaizen Facilitator) certification from Crane Co. Additionally, in 2014 Tim obtained a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification from Crane Currency.
