Steve has held various leadership roles, including Senior Engineering Manager at The Economist and Engineering Lead at Outmatch. With a strong background in managing remote and distributed teams, they are passionate about fostering productive and confident engineering environments. Steve's expertise encompasses mobile applications development, cloud infrastructure, and web engineering, complemented by a BA Hons in Multimedia Computing from Coventry University. They have also worked as a freelance engineering leader, advising organizations on optimizing their engineering practices.
