Sandro Gianella

Sandro Gianella currently serves as the Head of European & Middle East Policy and Partnerships at OpenAI, where responsibilities include leading the Policy & Partnerships function across the region and building a team of over seven policy professionals. Additionally, Sandro is an Expert with Atomico, a Limited Partner at Common Magic, and previously held the position of Head of EMEA Public Policy at Stripe, where Sandro was instrumental in establishing the company's global public policy function. Prior experience includes roles at Google, Global Affairs Canada, Heinrich Böll Foundation, and the G8 Research Group, with a focus on public policy, government relations, and international relations. Sandro holds an Hon. Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and Political Science from the University of Toronto and a Master's in Public Policy from the Hertie School.
