Bill Karpovich

Bill Karpovich is currently a board member at Atomicorp. Prior to that, they were with CoFactor Ventures, Calvert Hall College High School, and Everywhere Communications. From September 2017 to January 2020, they were the EVP Corporate Development at Sonatype where they drove strategy and corporate development for DevOps / Application Security innovator. In February 2015 to September 2017, they were the General Manager, IBM Cloud & Watson Platform at IBM. There, they held a key leadership role for one of IBM's "strategic imperatives". Bill also led transformation of organization, offerings and market positioning to improve competitiveness in cloud wars against Amazon, Microsoft and Google. From April 2009 to February 2013, they were a board member at Chesapeake Regional Tech Council. From March 2008 to March 2009, they were a board member at Era Corporation (now SRA). Lastly, from June 2005 to February 2015, they were the Co-Founder & Board Member at Zenoss, Inc.

Bill Karpovich has a BSEE from Duke University in Electrical Engineering, as well as a degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from the UCL abroad program. Bill also went to Calvert Hall College High School.
