Tom Sharkey

Tom Sharkey is a seasoned telecommunications professional with extensive experience in network consulting and technology leadership. Currently serving as a Telco & Network Consultant at ATOMIX since January 2021, Tom provides advisory and technical guidance for IoT and Telecom sectors. Tom previously held the position of Chief Technology Officer at OV, where responsibility included overseeing a technology team to develop software and infrastructure for mobile network operations. Prior to this, Tom was the Chief Technology Officer at Partitionware, a SaaS/PaaS provider for IoT services, which was later acquired by OV. Additional experience includes roles such as Lead Telecommunications Architect at Wi-Manx Limited and Technical Specialist at Manx Telecom, alongside an educational background in Computer Network Technology from the University of Lancashire and a BTEC National Diploma in Computer Networking from Isle of Man College.
