Gemma Ackerley

Head Of Customer Success at Atom Learning

Gemma Ackerley has a diverse work experience, starting in 2008 as a Supervisor for Caffè Nero. In 2009, they worked as a Barista at Starbucks for four years. From 2013 to 2014, they served as a Waitress at Zizzi Restaurants. Gemma then joined Explore Learning in 2014 and took on various roles, such as Assistant Director, Centre Director, and finally, Regional Manager from 2017 to 2020. In 2020, Gemma joined Atom Learning as a Customer Success Manager and later moved up to become Customer Success Lead. Currently, they hold the position of Head of Customer Success at Atom Learning, starting in July 2021.

Gemma Ackerley earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in English Literature from Newcastle University, where they attended from 2009 to 2012. Gemma later pursued a Master of Letters (MLITT) degree in Children's Literature at the same university, from 2012 to 2013. Additionally, Gemma obtained a certification in Train the Trainer from Explore Learning in May 2016.
