David Rinck

Lead Software Engineer at Atonix

David Rinck has extensive experience in software engineering and development. David is currently working as a Lead Software Architect at the University of Missouri-Kansas City since May 2023. Previously, they worked as a Lead Software Engineer at Atonix Digital from August 2020 to April 2023, where they played a key role in the acquisition of the company by Prometheus Group. Prior to that, they were a Lead Software Engineer at Daupler from September 2019 to August 2020.

David also worked as a Lead Developer at Black & Veatch from June 2018 to May 2019. Before that, they served as a Senior Software Engineer at HOMER Energy from August 2013 to June 2018, where they contributed to the development of simulation and optimization algorithms for hybrid power systems. David was also involved in the successful exit of the startup to Underwriters Laboratories (UL).

David gained experience as an Embedded Software Engineer at RBC Medical Innovations from October 2012 to August 2013. David was part of the software development team for the FDA Class III medical device, the Philips V680 ventilator. Additionally, they developed an iPad app with Bluetooth LE connectivity to the medical device. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Software and Firmware Developer at Sable Systems Inc from May 2011 to October 2012.

David Rinck holds a Master of Science (MS) degree in Engineering from Columbia University, which they pursued from 2009 to 2011. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Physics from the University of Missouri-Kansas City. In addition, David has obtained certifications such as the Microsoft Professional Program in Data Science from Microsoft in May 2018 and the AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in February 2019.
