Walter Cech

Walter Cech is an experienced IT professional with a strong background in leadership roles across several prominent companies. Currently serving as the CIO of Atos Austria since June 2019, Walter Cech also oversees the UCC Global IT Service Desk. Prior to this, Walter Cech led the Unify Global IT Service Desk from December 2008 to June 2019. Earlier in Walter Cech's career, significant positions included CIO at iSEC - It Services and Enterprise Communications GmbH and roles at Siemens AG Austria as IT Service Delivery Manager and Chief Integration Architect. Walter Cech began the career as Deputy CIO at Knoblich Licht GmbH. Walter Cech holds a Diplomingenieur degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Technical University of Vienna.
