David Capdevila

David Capdevila was appointed Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Atradius N.V. in January 2020.

As CEO he is responsible for the units Strategy & Corporate Development, Human Resources, Legal & Compliance, Internal Audit, and the countries Spain, Portugal and Brazil.

Previously, between 2006 and 2013, he held the position of General Manager of Crédito y Caución, and from 2008 to 2013 he was Chief Market Officer (CMO) and a member of the Management Board of Atradius N.V.

David Capdevila has a degree in Actuarial Economics from the University of Barcelona and an MBA from IESE Business School in Barcelona. He joined Grupo Catalana Occidente in 1992 as Director for Organisation and Quality and, since then, has assumed different responsibilities in Grupo Catalana Occidente S.A. and other entities within Grupo Catalana Occidente. From 2016 to 2019 he was the CEO of Plus Ultra Seguros.
