Kock De Vries has extensive work experience in the credit risk management field. Kock has held multiple roles at Atradius, starting in 2002 as a Risk Manager in Special Risk Management. In this role, they managed a buyer portfolio with a high-risk credit profile. Kock then moved on to become a Senior Key Account Underwriter and later the Head of Special Risk Management, where they oversaw sensitive buyers, cases, and trade sectors in the Netherlands. In 2019, De Vries became the Head of Africa & Israel Underwriting & Special Risk Management NL at Atradius. Kock has also worked briefly at Atradius Australia as an Underwriter for Australia, South East Asia & Oceania. Throughout their career, De Vries has demonstrated expertise in risk assessment, credit cover strategies, stakeholder management, securities valuation, and insolvency procedures.
Kock De Vries has a Master's degree in Business Economics, which they obtained from the University of Amsterdam in 2002. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor's degree in MER Financial (Management, Economics and Dutch Law) from Hogeschool Haarlem in 1999. In terms of management development programs, they completed the Talent Development Program ("TOP") at De Baak from 2006 to 2007, the Management Development Program "Stepping Forward 1" at de Baak in 2008, and the Management Development Program "Stepping Forward 2" at IMEC/Atradius Academy in 2010. Kock also completed the Atradius "On the Move" Management Development Program at Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University in 2011 and 2012.
