Ramit Mitra

Ramit Mitra is a Senior Researcher Associate and Program Consultant at the Ashoka Trust for Research in Ecology and the Environment in Bengaluru. They hold a Master of Science in Zoology/Animal Biology from the Central University of Kerala and have previously worked as a Project Associate at Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda College, where they focused on research related to plant-pollinator interactions. Ramit also gained laboratory experience through a short-term internship at Theism Health and a summer internship at the Indian Council of Medical Research, while pursuing a dissertation project at Tata Coffee that involved ecological studies and data analysis. An aspiring ecologist and nature-published author, Ramit aims to make meaningful contributions to the field of animal sciences and ecology.
