Genady P.

Genady P. has a wealth of work experience in the IT industry. Genady began their career in 2003 as a Senior Network Support Engineer on IPVPN Network at Bezeq. In this role, they provided communication solutions to enterprise customers, and had comprehensive experience of Cisco, MRV, Alcatel, ECI, TDSoft, Terayon, and RAD network elements. Genady also implemented, configured, and troubleshot network services running on top of L3 routers and L2 switches. Genady P. then moved to Nokia in 2008, where they served as a Testing and Integration Engineer. In this role, they translated business and technical requirements into test cases, test scenarios, and scripts. Genady also conducted end-to-end testing of Carrier Ethernet solutions, identified operational and functional problems of management, network, and user aspects, took part in debugging processes, and wrote and reviewed testing specifications, STP, STD, and STR documents. Finally, Genady P. joined Atrinet in 2014 as a Senior DevOps Engineer. In this role, they contributed to strategic planning meetings by providing guidance and expertise on system options, risk, cost vs. benefits, and impacts on departmental processes and goals. Genady also had expertise in multiple technical environments, including Linux, VMware’s ESXI, vCenter and Hypervisor, Storage, and Servers infrastructure.

Genady P. has a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics and Physics from Tel Aviv University, obtained between 1997 and 2000. Additionally, they have obtained certifications from Rackspace, the #1 managed cloud company for Openstack Essentials in April 2016, and is currently pursuing a Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) from the Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF) in December 2022. Genady also holds certifications from Cisco (BSCI and CCNA) and Juniper Networks (JNCIA-EX and JNCIS-ER).
