Nathan Miles is a climate risk industry veteran with over twenty years of experience in weather and commodity risk transfer. They served as Managing Director at Munich Re Trading LLC from 2009 to 2018, managing a diverse portfolio and overseeing natural gas trading operations. Prior to that, Nathan held the position of Parametric Weather and Natural Gas Portfolio Manager at Hess Energy Trading Company, where they successfully built a proprietary trading business. Currently, Nathan is a Portfolio Manager at Atrium, underwriting global non-catastrophe weather risks, and has also founded a startup wine business, Groove Wines. Nathan holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Kansas State University.
