William Thompson

William Thompson has extensive experience in the insurance industry, currently serving as an Underwriter at Atrium Underwriters Ltd since July 2009, focusing on international property facilities. Previous roles include Assistant Underwriter and Underwriting Assistant, where William contributed to the Non Marine Property and onshore energy team at Lloyd's, handling both North American and international risks. Prior to Atrium, William completed a three-and-a-half-month placement as an Underwriting Assistant at Talbot Underwriting in 2008 and gained work experience at Mortgages For Business from June 2006 to April 2008, primarily in the general insurance team. William holds a 2:1 BA (Hons) in Business from Durham University (2006-2009) and attended The King's School Canterbury from 2000 to 2005.
