Lorcan Matthews

Lorcan Matthews is a sales engineer currently at AtScale since March 2023. Previously, Lorcan served as a sales engineer for large enterprises at Alteryx, contributing to the North EMEA sales engineering team and supporting sales opportunities across the Alteryx portfolio, a leader in Analytic Process Automation. Before Alteryx, Lorcan worked at SAS as a customer advisory pre-sales consultant, assisting customers in leveraging data and analytics solutions. A short tenure as a data analyst occurred at HM Revenue & Customs during a secondment, where management information services were provided for UK government COVID-19 schemes. Earlier experience includes a role as a pre-sales technology consultant at Hitachi Vantara, driving support for various services across multiple business verticals. Lorcan holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Newcastle University and completed high school at ST MacNissi’s College Garron Tower, studying mathematics, technology and design, and physics.
