Blayne Parkos has over 20 years of experience in mechanical engineering and design. Blayne began their career as a Mechanical Designer at BUTH Engineering in 1998, where they worked for three years. In 2001, they joined Gausman & Moore Associates, Inc as a Senior Associate Mechanical Engineer and Project Manager. At Gausman & Moore, Blayne was responsible for managing projects in various sectors including healthcare, retail, educational, institutional, military, and commercial. Blayne also handled mechanical systems design, drafting, heating and cooling load calculations, LEED projects, energy modeling, and construction phase field verification. In 2014, Blayne joined ATS&R Planners / Architects / Engineers as the Director of Mechanical Engineering. In this role, they lead a team of engineers, designers, and drafters in creating innovative and energy-efficient mechanical systems for clients in the K-12 industry. Blayne takes pride in collaborating with other teams and ensuring designs are functional, maintainable, and align with the client's vision.

Blayne Parkos received a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from North Dakota State University from 1996 to 2001. Additionally, Blayne obtained LEED BD+C certification from USGBC in 2007.
